NOW Money is a banking, payments and money transfer solution developed for the migrant workforce in the UAE. The solution compromises of a mobile app and physical payment card, that can be used by migrant workers in the UAE, who otherwise would not be able to access traditional banking services.
The employer of the migrant workers is able to pay wages directly into the migrant work’s NOW Money account, which can then be used to pay for services (via the payment card) or remit money back to their home country using a range on money transfer providers.
BrightSpark Innovations developed a prototype of the NOW Money mobile application, showcasing the many features the app would provide, including payments, remittance, mobile top-up, bill payments, and more. The prototype played a pivotal role in negotiations with service providers, potential employers / clients and investors.
