Niraj has over 15 years of commercial PHP experience in developing websites and applications, and a portfolio of 100+ applications and websites. Niraj started coding as a “bedroom” developer in 2003 and then went on to graduate from King’s College London with a BSc in Computer Science in 2006 and a MSc in Advanced Computing in 2007.
Niraj has been involved with a number of startups over the years, including Techlightenment, a social media company; Wonga, a short-term loans company; and Free:formers, a digital training company. Niraj has worked with Fiachra in the AIMIA’s Global Innovation Lab and at Nectar, and together founded BrightSpark Innovations Limited in 2016 and worked for a FinTech startup in the UAE.
Niraj also blogs about coding and development, sharing his expertise with other developers and the Open Source community. According to website StackOverflow, Niraj is ranked in the top 3% of developers and has reached over 1.5 million people on the site.
